In the Science of Mind, we learn that no thought of negation can enter a mind already filled with peace and faith. The suggestion of limitations, fear and doubt cannot find entrance to that mental home where God is enthroned as the Supreme Guest.<br />And the sword of the Spirit is the word of Truth. I was thinking this is the perfect time to use our ability to level up our lives so that when we gain our freedom to leave our homes, it's with new found resilience and power. I keep saying that this is an opportunity to make the inner changes while we have this time.&nbsp;<br /><br />With the heaviness that our hearts are feeling, it's super important to bring in the lightness of our being as well. Keep in mind that feelings are <em>creative</em>, meaning that when we feel in our heart it "talks" to the body. If we are feeling fear, anxiety all the time it will certainly not vibrate in our body well, it literally causes "dis-ease". When we have the ability to choose calm and be more comfortable we create ease and build up our immune system rather than breaking it down, (check out the photo below). In times like these it's important to keep a balance with taking care of our health, wealth, mental clarity and believe it or not, having fun. It is alright to laugh and play when in lockdown, in fact, it's wildly important.<br />&#8203;<br />But for now, the present moment is what we&rsquo;re dealing with, so what can we do to stay in alignment for these next weeks. First, take a minute for yourself and take inventory of what you&rsquo;ve been doing that has worked during lockdown&hellip; appreciate that, kudos for what you have done! Then, take a look at what you've been doing that hasn't worked quite so well for you. No judgement<br /><br />Now, what are your options?<br />What can you do that will keep you more sane and healthy?<br />Write it down, create a list of options for you to choose from each day.<br /><br />Here are some suggestions.<br />&nbsp;&infin; Put a reminder on your phone to take five during the day to refocus.<br />&infin; Take time to go outside and put your feet on the earth to be grounded.<br />&infin; Make new food choices that support a healthy lifestyle.<br />&infin; Call an old friend to reconnect.<br />&infin; Clean out useless items in your home.<br />&infin; Make a vision board.<br />&infin; Join up with a new form of exercise.<br />&infin; Meetup with new like-minded people.<br />&infin; Watch a video that will inspire you.<br />&infin; Play with a child or animal that makes you feel happy.<br />&infin; Go outside at night and watch the stars.<br />&infin; Do something that makes you feel brave.<br />&infin; Tell someone how much you appreciate them.<br />&infin; Take a calming bath.<br />&infin; Play a game with friends.<br />&infin; Meditate in a new way.<br />&infin; Organize one closet.<br />&infin; Be of service to the world.<br />The suggestion is to add to this list on a regular basis. Make some of the actions fun, and some that are more on the challenging side. The problem is that when you tell it to too many people and spend all that time and energy on the problem, you will continue to focus on what has or could happen that&rsquo;s bad rather than the possible great outcome. Just this one power statement alone is seriously life changing.<ul><li><strong>I learn from the past and use the wisdom to make conscious new intentional choices.</strong></li></ul> The past is not meant to define you&hellip; it&rsquo;s just where your consciousness was at the time. You learned how to do what you did, and if it&rsquo;s no longer working for you, you get to learn a new way to be. It&rsquo;s just that simple.<br /><ul><li><strong>I let go of judgement and allow for compassion to lead the way.</strong></li></ul> If I could say that in my therapy practice that there would be one major thing that many people do that makes their lives difficult, it would be dealing with constant judgement. We judge or get judged by something that happened years ago, and that will be forever how we look at that person. Or, we judge without even knowing the circumstances of people&rsquo;s lives. We judge and do the thing that we are judging. We hurt with all the judgement, and there is no room for letting go. Compassion for ourselves and others for their unconsciousness in who they have been is key. Then, set healthy boundaries, use effective communication and a focus on solutions will greatly move your life in a powerful direction.<ul><li><strong>Divine right action is taking place in my life all the time.</strong></li></ul> I know that this one might be a bit of a challenge, the hard times in life are where we learn the lessons, and through them we discover our power. Life is all about the journey and the contrasts along the way. When you put this power statement out ahead of you then this is more of what you will own in the great moments and the difficult times ahead.<ul><li><strong>Abundance comes to me from known and unknown sources. My life is rich.</strong></li></ul> This one is pretty amazing; I&rsquo;ve witnessed so many miracles in my own life and in the lives of my clients over the years. For many of us we grew up with what I call lack and limitation beliefs, if that&rsquo;s the case with you, it might be that this statement is difficult to own. This would be a good opportunity to look at your beliefs around money, success, and abundance.<ul><li><strong>I let go of what no longer serves me. </strong></li></ul> If it makes you unhappy, unhealthy, feeling unloved or lacking, it might not serve you anymore. Time to let go and move on to better things.<ul><li><strong>I continue to lean into the people who support, appreciate and respect me. I live in love. </strong></li></ul> This doesn&rsquo;t mean you have to get rid of those who are not supportive, disrespectful or have a lack of appreciation. It just means that you will choose to spend your time with those who resonate with the best and highest that you are creating in your life. Some good constructive communication will help to create better relationships with those that are not in alignment with this power statement.<ul><li><strong>I live in deep appreciation for all that was, all that Is, and all that will ever be.</strong></li></ul> The feeling of appreciation is one of the most powerfully creative feelings. Feel gratitude for where you have been, for what you are doing and for what you are wanting. Honor yourselves and move through the godliness of your being.&rdquo;</font> <font color="#8d2424">~<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Roberts" target="_blank">Jane Roberts/Seth</a></font><br />&nbsp;<br />This knowledge has been one of the most important things that I have learned, it&rsquo;s been that &ldquo;thing&rdquo; that has given me the ability to lead the life that I&rsquo;m so grateful for now.<br />&nbsp;<br />Modern science has proven that there is a field of energy that is present everywhere, in and as all things. Scientists recognize that this energy is intelligent and interactive with us, it is you, it&rsquo;s me, the expanded WE.<br />&nbsp;<br />This energy is called many names, some of my terms are Infinite Intelligence, Unified Field, Source, Source Energy, and as one of my favorite teachers likes to call it, the Divine Matrix. Many people call It God.<br />&nbsp;<br />I used to work at a rehab that was right on the ocean in Malibu, and I would take my clients to the edge of the cliff and show them the ocean and explain to them what being connected to their power looks like.<br />&nbsp;<br />As we stood there, I would say, &ldquo;Imagine that the ocean is the infinite intelligent universe. It&rsquo;s powerful and expansive. You don&rsquo;t have to tell the ocean what to do, it knows exactly how to be. It rocks back and forth honoring the rhythm of the earth. The creatures, great and small are all in sync with the nature of their being. Imagine that this ocean is creative, it is love, peace, power, calm, etc.<br />&nbsp;<br />Now, imagine that you are a drop of water in this ocean, you are one with it, connected to the intelligence, connected to all the good that this energy has to offer. You are the ocean; the ocean is you. You bring in information, you send out information in the form of electromagnetic energy. When you are in your power feelings, this connection is felt, experienced and you are creating consciously.<br />&nbsp;<br />But, what if you&rsquo;re in those fear feelings? That&rsquo;s when it seems like you have a layer of oil surrounding you and the connection to the Universe feels gone. You are always one with Source, but anger, anxiety, worry, judgement, depression, etc. give us a sense of disconnect. It feels like we&rsquo;re alone and vulnerable.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br />The more we work through our feelings of fear and continue to own our power to be at least calm, the more we are in a conscious connection to our higher self.<br />&nbsp;<br />Another way to look at it is to imagine that we are very similar to this computer that I am typing on right now. When we are first born we are totally connected to the &ldquo;internet&rdquo; &hellip; Infinite Intelligence. We were an open channel and the power of the universe flows through us. As we grow, especially in the years from 0 to 8 we take on beliefs that may give us a sense of disconnect from the flow of information and power from the &ldquo;internet&rdquo;. It doesn&rsquo;t mean that it&rsquo;s not there, just that we don&rsquo;t have good reception. In the game you create an avatar that kind of represents you. What happens to your character in the game is up to you. You dress her/him, create a job, make valuable life choices, you create your children, what your home looks like,&nbsp;the hobbies you have and you also get to deal with what happens to you.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; My daughter plays this game, and the one day her character was cooking and accidentally caught on fire. She died! It was tragic, and it could have been prevented. &nbsp;The great news is that she had another character immediately.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In real life, obviously, we don't get to be the new character immediately, just like that. I have a very good friend that runs her own life very well, and many of the people she loves are experiencing debilitating life challenges. It gets to be exhausting when you&rsquo;re worried about loved ones! The effects that worry, stress and anxiety have on the body are quite debilitating.<br /><br />We all know and love people with addictions, ill health/dying/death, financial challenges and relationship problems. We invest our time, our words of encouragement, love, prayers, and money in the hope of making a difference. Doing that in too many ways can unfortunately deplete our own reserves and cause us to give too much to others at the expense of ourself.<br /><br />We are all connected here on this earth, and at this moment there are so many people in the world experiencing hurricanes, earthquakes, famine, war, terrorism, etc. This goes out energetically to all, and it&rsquo;s important to have tools in place to hold your own during this chaos.<br /><br />When life gets completely out of hand it&rsquo;s everything we can do to just keep our head above water.<br /><br />In the Tools for Transformation there is a fix for this. The tool that is about moving your fear into your power is also about taking the challenges and moving into solutions. Here&rsquo;s a sample for you!<br /><br /><strong><font size="4">The Challenges</font></strong><br /><br />You know that life requires an adjustment when you are:<br />&infin;<span> </span>Feeling too emotional and not in control of your feelings.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Apathetic, depressed, lacking energy and overly angry.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Crying way too much.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Getting overly snappy with those people we care about.<br /><br />&infin;<span> </span>Not able to manage a balance with eating, sleeping and physical activity.<br /><br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o&nbsp;Not being able to get out of bed in the morning.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Staying up too late. Waking in the night, not able to get back to sleep.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Not able to muster energy for physical exercise.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o<span> </span>Eating too much, too little or just crappy nutrition less food.<br /><br />&infin;<span> </span>Experiencing too much ill health, pain and tightness in the body<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;o Dealing with unconscious, embarrassing compulsive behavior.<br /><br />&infin;<span> </span>Using drugs, alcohol, sex, smoking, food, etc. to be calm and distracted.<br /><br /><br /><font color="#24678d">The good news is that you don&rsquo;t have to live in this state.<br />Be compassionate with yourself and take this time to recognize that, this is where my life has<br />been parked for a while, and now it&rsquo;s time to move on&hellip; with more conscious intention.</font><br /><br /><strong><font size="4">FOCUS ON THE POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS</font></strong><br />TRANSFORMATION GAME RULES TO WIN AT LIFE<br /><br />*Be deliberate and on purpose.<br />*Know what you want.<br />*Use every challenge as an opportunity to move up the board.<br />*Keep focused on all solutions to your challenges.<br />*Have fun!<br />*Appreciate anything and everything.<br />*Be patient with yourself. This is a process, not an overnight miracle.<br />*Ask if you are not sure&hellip; there are answers.<br />*Be compassionate with yourself and others. We are all just trying to figure it all out.<br />*Choose your words, they are creative/destructive.&nbsp;<br />*Be intentional, honest, thoughtful and considerate.<br />*Focus on any and all good news.<br />*Hold bad news in your purposeful prayers.<br />*Keep moving up the emotional ladder. Move toward what makes you feel better.<br />*Take care of yourself first, then you can take care of others.<br />*Say NO when you want to&hellip; nicely, with a smile.<br />*Keep challenging yourself and adding to the &ldquo;Do This&rdquo; suggestions.<br />*Be present and honest with your feelings. When we are feeling "overwhelmed, angry and frustrated", it causes us to not think clearly.&nbsp;It's important to take the time to focus on areas of life that will assist in creating a perspective that will be in alignment with what we do want, not a focus on the excessive "problems" that we feel we have no control over.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">Further in the Facebook post my friend also said, &rdquo; The problem is, I don't watch the news. It's getting to the point that I hardly even get on Facebook because of all the negativity and hatred.&rdquo;</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">Here's the deal, if you can&rsquo;t watch the news without getting all freaked out, don&rsquo;t watch.&nbsp;</span><span style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">Choose to be a center of calm, trust that divine right action is taking place, make sure that your life is in order, and keep focused on constructive action in your own life. If there are circumstances going on that you feel need to be remedied, consider it a prayer request for our country/world, on what we need affirmative action on.<br />&#8203;<br />When I say&nbsp;</span><em style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">prayer request</em><span style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">, that means whatever is going on, you don't recognize that as the be-all, end all, truth of the situation.</span><br /><br /></div>  <div class="paragraph">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; You&nbsp;recognize&nbsp;that there is a higher power, whatever your belief is, and you<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;connect with that source.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; You place your faith and attention on the&nbsp;highest and best happening.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; You consider it an opportunity to put your attention on the solutions.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; It&rsquo;s an opening for you to focus on being calm and present to <em>this</em> moment&hellip; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;not the possible future or the challenging past.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&infin; You go about the business of owning&nbsp;<span style="color:rgb(155, 155, 155)">your truth/beliefs, regardless of what the &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;news chaos is.</span><br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; You go about the business of owning<br />&#8203; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&infin;&nbsp;You hold a place of conscious awareness.<br /><br />Too much of the time we get into fear of the possibilities. This can make us feel <em>frozen</em>, unable to do anything. We may feel as though we want to <em>fight</em> our way into a new outcome. Or,&nbsp;we may just want to run, take <em>flight</em> from the difficulties and disappear into addictions or other behaviors that are a distraction from the challenging emotions we may be feeling.<br /><br />To get beyond that freeze/flight/flight, find a way to be informed and take constructive action.<br /><br />Some suggestions for action:<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&infin; Choose a cause that you would like to champion (the environment/climate, social <br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; issues, healthcare, politics/policies,&nbsp;financial/banking system, human rights, etc&hellip;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin;&nbsp;Find an online or in-person group associated with that cause or create your &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;own, and be a part of a community that is focused on solutions and takes &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; constructive action.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; Be of service/volunteer to an organization that needs help.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; Donate to organizations that promote, protect and support the well being of &nbsp;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;humankind.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; Take time for yourself to re-balance. Meditate, exercise, journal, rest and do things <br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;that inspire.<br />&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &infin; Create a "bubble of immunity" from the negativity and hatred. It&rsquo;s a deep subconscious belief/thought, and it&rsquo;s in a rhythm. You have set a pattern. In order to break this cycle, it&rsquo;s important to recognize your power to choose a new lifestyle.<br />&nbsp;<br />The first key choice to creating a more empowered life is to begin the process of changing your mind about your behavior. In order to do that, start being more mindful/aware about what that little voice in your head is saying, basically, your unconscious thoughts. Actually it's saying something right now, maybe judgement about your capability to do this, doubt, or possibly that voice is saying that this could be an answer for you. Listen.<br />&nbsp;<br />We all have that little voice&hellip; the one that runs the program of your life. It&rsquo;s always talking, even in your sleep. The problem is that many of us don&rsquo;t listen to the voice, and we don&rsquo;t recognize that the voice is repeating a lot of what was said to you when you were a child. It&rsquo;s not your own intelligent thoughts, but many of the beliefs and ideas from parents and authority figures.<br />&nbsp;<br />Hypnosis is a great tool that will help to re-program the brain so that your action and habits are in alignment with what <em>you </em>really want. When my clients are practicing the Fear into Power exercise in the Tools for Transformation, they are hypnotizing themselves and changing their own minds. They don&rsquo;t have to rely on me; they get to own their own power to change their life. Of course, I do hypnosis when one of the challenges needs more support, but for the most part, once you have trained yourself in this process I&rsquo;m not necessary. &nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br />If you want to go from binge eating to healthy choices, from over spending to responsible choices, from procrastination to constructive action and from excessive drinking to moderation, consider this an option.<br />&#8203;<br />What is your issue? Be honest with yourself and look at your past challenges with compassion. This is a new choice moment for you to level up. Use your determination to guide you and ask for help if you need it. We all have our moments, no judgement, guilt or shame.<br />&#8203;</div>  <div class="paragraph">This is the tool for changing your mind.&nbsp;<br /><br />Using a notebook, make two columns like you see below. Write down your feelings, do the investigative work, remember no judgement, only compassion. This just to determine what the subconscious thoughts are.&nbsp;It is important to put your focus on your new intention.
