Had Enough with 2016? Here's How to Make 2017 Much Better...Guaranteed!

There are so many requests for prayer and support on Facebook. Everywhere I look I'm seeing a lot of anger, frustration, anxiety and stress about events happening in our individual lives, communities, country and our world. For many of us, 2016 was filled with adversity. There's a great consensus out there that, thank God, the year is over!
 
Unfortunately, we all have those periods of time where it’s just hard. I had my own experiences in 2016 that tested me. In fact, one event was the hardest experience that I’ve had in many years.

The point is, I’m finding that many of us are getting stuck in the hardships of life and it’s getting to be “normal” that life is just hard. It’s just one bad thing after another and that is just the way life goes. "The future is not ours to create."

As a therapist, it’s my job to help people when they have challenges. I offer solutions, tools on how to make the solutions happen, hope and new vision. One of the most effective tools that I share is to move your mind from “Fear” into your Power.  

As you move into this new year of 2017, start with a clean slate.
Take this next two days to review what made your life worth living and appreciate all that you did to make that happen.
Then write down what didn’t work? No judgement, just observation and compassion. You created those things that you didn’t like with your subconscious mind, now, you have an opportunity to recreate with a conscious awareness, new solutions and a defined intention.

It looks like this:
You look at what the problem was, ask yourself the important questions, take inventory, be honest, decide what you want, then set a new intention.
Make a new plan of action. Put your full attention on the solutions that will create your intention.

What do I really want?
 



​Not healthy, not enough energy.
Why?
Did I make choices that supported my body?
What was my attention on?

Did I spend too much time focused on negative feelings?
​2017 Intention, Focus on Solutions
 
I am the love of my life and I draw people to me that love me and who are supportive, appreciative and loving.

​I am valuable and the relationships that I create are
respectful, considerate, patient, compassionate, cooperative and kind.

I Am all those things I wish to have in a great relationship.

In my relationships, we communicate effectively and forgive easily.
We learn through our challenges and grow together consciously.
 


I love and honor my body.

I make healthy choices that support the health of my body.

My attention is on the solutions that create energy and well being.

I work through my feelings that don’t support an environment of calm. 

This is a process! For most of us the great things didn't happen overnight. Be committed to the process.
Keep your attention and your intention on focused awareness of your mind and feelings. They show you the way.

In this New Year of 2017 I wish you much Love, Great Health, Abundance and Joy!
