Whew! I don’t know about you, but I have a had a super busy moment! I think a lot of us go through times that are just a constant “GO!”, and it’s really, really challenging to stay focused and centered. Stress and anxiety can take over and its gets to be where we hit that crash point and we get sick and tired, literally! We sometimes stay in this stuck place for so long that we just consider it natural… it’s just the way life is. The good news is… that doesn’t have to be you. We were designed to be highly energetic and happy. Unfortunately, many of us never got the new information/ rules about how to change our ways to be in that happy and energetic state. For me, it was necessary to change my ways, because I felt so uncomfortable in my body.
It has been quite the process. I can sit here now and write this realizing that all the super busy time has been of my own choosing and that most of the time has been happy and calm. Don’t get me wrong, there have also been moments of stress, frustration, and anger… I just didn’t stay there as long and I did whatever action I could to change the circumstance. If you’re thinking about it like the car analogy it would look like this. Before you go too far down that slippery slope of rage, stress, worry and anxiety, stop yourself as best you can! Take a breath and refocus yourself, then remember that you have the ability to do one of three things. Communicate - With yourself or someone else. Action - Do something that will change your circumstance for the better. Release - Authentically let go of what no longer serves you... forgive. Solutions - Focus full attention on what will move you into your best and highest happening. This is all a process, it takes a while to make it a habit. Be patient and compassionate with yourself and others. Focus on the moments of success and be deeply grateful for your movement forward. If you imagine the road of your life it could look something like this... We all have the moments of being down. The trick to getting back up is finding the right solutions to make life better.
Climb up and learn how to do it better.
